DIY Remedies for Acne

Tea Tree Oil Treatment
Ingredients:
1–2 drops of tea tree essential oil
1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel or water
How:
Dilute tea tree oil with aloe vera gel or water.
Apply it directly on pimples with a cotton swab.
Leave it overnight and rinse in the morning.
Advantages: Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties, thus reducing the bacteria that causes acne.

Honey and Cinnamon Mask
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method:
Mix honey and cinnamon into a paste.
Apply to face focusing on areas with acne.
Let it sit on for 15–20 minutes then rinse off using warm water.
Advantages: Honey is antibacterial in nature, and cinnamon diminishes inflammation.

Ingredients
1 green tea bag
½ cup of water
Procedure:
Steep green tea and let it cool.
Pour it into a spray bottle and mist it onto clean skin.
Benefits: Green tea reduces redness and inflammation and has antioxidant properties.

Apple Cider Vinegar Toner
Ingredients:
1 part apple cider vinegar
2 parts waters
Method:
Mix the ingredients and apply with a cotton pad after cleansing.
Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse if skin feels sensitive.
