1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil (or olive oil)
Optional: Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt to the mixture for added moisture
How to Make it:
- Peel a banana and mash it up into a very smooth paste. Use a blender to make it lump-free.
- Add honey and coconut oil; mix well. If adding yogurt, add it to this mixture.
- Apply the mask evenly to damp hair, focusing on the ends and avoiding the scalp if it’s oily.
- Cover your hair with a shower cap to prevent mess and allow the mask to penetrate.
- Leave the mask on for 20–30 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo as usual.
Blend well so that the bits of bananas do not stick onto your hair. Use once a week for maximum hydration and repair. After shampooing, rinse with cold water to seal the pores.
